COR Black (385nm)
Materials
Information
COR (Cyclic Olefin Resin) Black resin is validated on a catalog of industrial-grade 3D printers working at 385nm wavelength to produce rugged parts without brittleness.
COR stands for “Cyclic Olefin Resin,” a new family of engineering-grade materials for additive manufacturing developed by polySpectra. Just like the flagship COR Alpha, the COR Black material offers durability, high impact strength, high-temperature performance, and moisture- and chemical-resistant capabilities – all without brittleness.
COR Black is valided as a drop-in solution on select validated industrial 3D printers, with an ever-growing catalog of systems being explored. Additive manufacturing for actual mass production requires sturdy materials that can withstand challenging real-world environments.
